Child Care Information Services (CCIS) is the hub for information about choosing child care and other children's services in the county dealing with such issues as children's health, nutrition, safety, and special needs. Information is free to all through CCIS's Resource and Referral program.
Child Care Assistance
CCIS also offers financial assistance to working families who meet the eligibility requirements for help with their child care costs. A parent choice system, CCIS gives parents options in selecting the child care of their choice to best meet their unique needs.
For guidelines and to apply for help, parents should call for an information packet and then set up an appointment to determine their eligibility for assistance. CCIS is funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services.
