Notice of Availability


The purpose of this Notice of Availability (NOA) is to announce the availability of the Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Washington County Airport Northside Development Project for public review.  The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is reviewing the Draft EA for potential environmental impacts related to the proposed program. 

The Northside Development Project consists of the development of the north side of the Airport in order to better serve existing airport consumers and capitalize on current demand for Airport facilities.  An additional purpose is to improve the Runway Safety Area (RSA) width and grading to meet the FAA grading standards by utilizing the additional fill from the construction projects.  The proposed actions consist of the construction an access road, hangars, office space, vehicle parking, access taxiway, an aircraft apron space, and associated utility extensions.  The proposed action will also include the construction of waste areas for excess excavation produced by the Project, and an associated haul road for the transportation of the excess excavation materials. 

The Draft EA will be available for review for a period of 30 days from the publication of this notice, and can be found at the following location during normal operating hours:
