Training & Equipment

Washington County Department of Public Safety is actively training and equipping emergency first responders so they can more effectively manage terrorist activity. The county's Hazardous Materials Team has received specialized equipment from the Region 13 Counter Terrorism Task Force.

The Department of Public Safety has offered a Community Emergency Response Team training for county residents. If you are interested in organizing a Citizen Corp Council or sponsoring a CERT Training session in your area please call (724) 228-6911 or submit you request by email.
