About the Program
The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) is a program administered by the Department of Energy, using America Recovery and Reinvestment Funds, that gives money to aide programs that help with energy conservation or reduction in energy usage in state and local governments.
Currently, Washington County is working on several projects that will use this money to help with energy efficiency and conservation of resources. For more information, please contact the Washington County Planning Commission at (724) 228-6811.
Department of Energy Quarterly Reporting
As a recipient of grant money through the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant, Washington County is required to send quarterly reports to the Department of Energy's (DOE) Performance and Accountability for Grants in Energy (PAGE) Program. To date, the county has submitted four reports for the progress of the proposed projects to DOE. These reports are posted in the downloads section for public viewing. As future reports are approved, they will be posted at this site. Please feel free to review the reports submitted to the DOE and please look for future reports to be posted.
