Washington County WELL Program
Register
To participate in the Washington County WELL Program, participants must register on the Washington Walking™ Program website.
- You will need Internet access to register. If you do not have Internet access, you can use a local library, senior center, school, or friend / family member with computer access. You may also complete the Input Walk Sheet and give it to your building representative.
- If you have Internet access, open the web browser and go to the website. Click on the “Become a Member” link at the top of the page and follow the registration process. An e-mail account is also required. If you do not have an e-mail account, there are options on the “Becoming a Member” page that will show you how to get a free account, just select one of the links and follow the instructions. Or see below for the links where free e-mail accounts are available.

Join WELL & Track Distance
- Log into the website (on the right side on the screen with your e-mail address and password that you created when you registered).
- On the left side of the screen, click the "Groups" link.
- Under "Join a Group," select the drop down arrow to the right of the select a group to join heading and select Washington County WELL Program from the list.
- Click the “Join Group” button.
Input a Walk
- Log into the website (on the right side on the screen with your e-mail address and password that you created when you registered).
- Click the “Input a Walk” link on the left side of the screen.
- Enter the number of miles you walked and the time it took you to complete the walk. (*=required field).
- Next enter the date of your walk and click the submit button.
- Your walks will be logged in the “Walk History” link on the left side of the screen.
Note: If you are using a pedometer, one mile equals about 2000 steps.
