Rachel Wheeler began her career with the District Attorney’s Office in March of 2016. She graduated summa cum laude from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Accounting in 2008.  In 2011, she graduated magna cum laude with her Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law, and was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in October of 2011. 

While in law school Rachel acquired experience in defending and representing clients at the Allegheny County Office of Conflict Counsel.   Additionally, through internships at the United States District Attorney’s Office and the Erie County District Attorney’s Office, Rachel had the opportunity to practice criminal law in both the Federal and the Pennsylvania State courts.

Upon graduating law school, Rachel served as a law clerk for Judges Melograne and DiSalle in the Court of Common Pleas of Washington County, Pennsylvania.   From February of 2013 to March of 2016, Rachel was a practicing attorney at the law firm of Pollock Morris, LLC, where she gained experience in many areas of law including, civil, juvenile dependency and delinquency, family, and criminal defense.
